2 Shot, 1 In Custody After 'Domestic Dispute' In Skokie, Police Say

SKOKIE, IL — One person is in custody after two people were shot inside a home in Skokie, police said.

Officers called to a building the 3900 block of Kirk Street around 4:45 p.m. for a report of a person shot arrived to find two people with gunshot wounds, according to police.

Police have launched a preliminary investigation into the circumstances of the shooting, which they believe began with a domestic dispute, according to a statement from Sgt. John Oakley.

Both people shot were taken to local hospitals for treatment. No further information about their condition was immediately available.
