Did You Flood? FEMA Comes To Skokie Friday, Some Funding Available
Some federal funding is available for eligible flood-related damages from the April 18 storm. Agency representatives will be at the Skokie Police Station.

On Friday, June 28, 2013, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) staff will be at Skokie Police Headquarters, 7300 Niles Center Road, Skokie, from 3 to 7 p.m. to meet with residents regarding damages from the April 18 storm, the Village of Skokie reports.
FEMA staff will answer questions and help residents register for FEMA assistance. In addition, individuals can check the status of their claims and get referrals to other agencies that may provide assistance.
FEMA may help provide assistance in the case of severe damage to homes, doors, windows, electrical systems, plumbing, heating, ventilation, etc.
