Masturbating Man In SUV Spotted Near Skokie School Twice In 2 Weeks, Police Say
Skokie police asked the public to be aware of their surroundings and call 911 if they see anything suspicious.

SKOKIE, IL — Police are investigating a pair of recent reports of public indecency near a Skokie school.
Twice in the past two weeks, a man in a dark-colored, newer model SUV was spotted masturbating "while watching females" during weekday afternoons near West Howard Street and North Crawford Avenue, according to a community alert from Skokie police.
East Prairie School, the lone school in East Prairie School District 73, is located on the northeast corner of that intersection. The two incidents occurred on May 17 and May 22, police said.

Police said the man was described as 25 to 35 years old with an average build, a full beard, and black hair in a comb-over style.
He appeared to be of South Asian or Middle Eastern descent, according to the community alert.

In one case, the man was spotted at West Howard Street and North Kildare Avenue. In the other, he was located in the 7500 block of East Prairie Road. In one of the incidents, the man was driving the SUV.
Police asked the public to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to 911.
Skokie police were not aware of incidents involving a similar suspect in other jurisdictions.
Anyone with any information regarding the recent reportedly indecent incidents was encouraged to call the Skokie Police Department.
