No Injuries After Edens Expressway Shooting Near Touhy Avenue
A Skokie man said he was driving home on the outbound Edens Expressway when someone opened fire at his car.
LINCOLNWOOD, IL — Illinois State Police are investigating a report of a shooting late Thursday morning on the Edens Expressway near Peterson Avenue. Police said no injuries were reported in the shooting, which was reported in the northbound lanes of Interstate 94 between Peterson and Touhy Avenue.
The victim, a 34-year-old man from Skokie who did not go on camera, told CBS 2 he was on his way home from HVAC school, when someone started shooting at his car on the Edens near Peterson, and then he crashed at Touhy.
