Featured Obituary:

Theresa Lynne Paine
November 6, 1989 - July 14, 2022

Theresa was born November 6, 1989 to Mary and Scott Paine. She started life as a perfect angel with big blue eyes and curly dark locks of hair that remained part of her enduring beauty. Theresa grew up bright and inquisitive. She attended grade school in Wilmette, Illinois and graduated from New Trier High School in 2008 and earned her B.S. in Biology and French from Washington University in St. Louis. She excelled at everything she took up - whether pursuing her love of music as a tubist, singing choral music with perfect pitch or enjoying classical and any and all types music. She earned her brown belt in Karate and rowed on the college crew team. Always a focused student and devoted learner, Theresa was a polyglot with curiosity and drive to learn French, Japanese, Korean, and some German.

Theresa's grace, beauty and open heart were expressed in her yoga practice. She shared her gifts as a dedicated instructor with a devoted following. She touched her many students' hearts with her gentle corrections, encouragements and infinite patience with them.

A passionate knitter, Theresa created beautiful sweaters, shawls, hats, socks and even a full length dress, with the most exquisite yarns that she could find. She shared her creations with many friends and family. Those artistic works will be cherished forever.

Theresa cared so deeply for nature and animals that she became a vegan after college and she never altered her course. She loved travel and had many fun adventures and trips with her parents and sisters. To her family and friends, she was loyal and honest and quietly supported all with her wisdom, always without drama or judgement.

It was Theresa's love of music that bonded her together with Nathan. Their time in band started in Wilmette Junior High and became the seed of a love story that bloomed in High School and blossomed in college. The two married in 2018 and remained the most devoted, loving couple as they walked through life together. Their son Robbie was born on April 6, 2022 and will forever remain their love's legacy.
