Teen Girl Charged With Battery of Another Teen Girl After Skokie Skirmish Game

• Theft at 9800 Lawler Avenue, Niles North High School, on September 6th between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.   Reported:  09/06/2013. An unknown person(s) stole a Schwinn Traverse Mountain bike from outside the school.

• Theft at 8401 Skokie Boulevard, Mobil Gas Station, on September 7th between 2:30 p.m. and 2:35 p.m.  Reported:  09/07/2013. An unknown person(s) removed a Samsung Galaxy X3 cell phone from inside a desk at the gas station.

• Theft of Lost Property at 4999 Old Orchard Road, Regal Garden Cinema’s, on September 7th at 2:50 p.m.  Reported:  09/07/2013. An unknown person(s) removed a white Iphone that was left unattended on the counter.

• Criminal Defacement of Property at 9100 Gross Point Road, Gross Point Park, on September 6th between 5:00 p.m. and 8:19 p.m.   Reported:  09/06/2013. An unknown person(s) used a black marker to write letters on the wall of the men’s bathroom.

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 8300 block of Harding Avenue, on September 7th at 10:13 a.m.  Reported:  09/07/2013. An unknown person(s) entered a 2010 Toyota and a 1997 Dodge, and removed various items from inside both vehicles.

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 8500 block of Springfield Avenue, between September 6th at 8:00 p.m. and September 7th at 6:00 a.m.  Reported:  09/07/2013. An unknown person(s) entered a Toyota and removed a Comcast cable box.

• Welch, Gabrielle A., 18, 3800 block of Hull Street, Skokie, charged with battery at 9800 Lawler on  09/07/2013.  Welch was charged after striking the victim, a 17 year old juvenile female, in the face after a football game at Niles North High School, police said.

• Alrifafi, Leekai Nadia, 20, 4800 block of Elm Street, Skokie, was charged with Felony Retail Theft at Sephora in Old Orchard on September 6th at 12:59 p.m.

• Rendon, Jose A., 27, of West Fullerton Avenue, Chicago, charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol on the 5100 block of Oakton Street, Skokie, on September 7th at 8:52 p.m.
