2-Year-Old Boy Falls From South Side Building
The child was found breathing and conscious after falling Tuesday from the 2nd story of a Bronzeville building.

CHICAGO, IL — A 2-year-old boy fell from the second floor of a South Side building Tuesday afternoon, according to the Chicago Tribune. The child was being treated for his injuries at Comer Children's Hospital, but his condition wasn't known, the report added. Chicago police are investigating the incident.
According to police, the boy fell at around noon Tuesday, Aug. 22, from a building in the 4200 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue in the Bronzeville neighborhood, the report stated. When first responders arrived, the child was breathing and conscious, the report added.
Investigators are still trying to determine how the boy fell, the report stated. It's unclear yet if the child fell from a window or other high area, the report added.
