CHICAGO, IL — Two Chicago men face multiple felony charges after a police officer was shot and wounded following the armed robbery of a cellphone store on the South Side. Donzell L. Grant, 20, of the 1600 block of West 61st Street, and Cortez Harrington, 24, of the 300 block of East 69th Street, are charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery with a firearm and other charges stemming from the incident Friday, Chicago police said in a statement. But prosecutors said Monday that the gunman who fired the shot that hit a Chicago officer in the leg is still on the loose, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

According to prosecutors, Grant and an unidentified third suspect are accused of tying up employees of a T-Mobile store in the 4300 block of South Ashland Avenue in the Back of the Yards neighborhood while they allegedly robbed the business at around 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 21, the report stated. Harrington waited in a getaway car — a Dodge Charger — in a nearby alley, the report added.
