Grab A Headset And Enter The Coach Johnson Look-Alike Contest Thursday In Bedford Park
Celebrate the Chicago Bears playoff run by entering the Ben Johnson look-alike contest, Thursday, Jan. 8, at the Wintrust Sports Complex.
BEDFORD PARK, IL — Grab a headset, don a Bears sweatshirt, and maybe hold a clipboard over your lips, so the other team can’t read them. In celebration of Bears’ cardiac season, the Village of Bedford Park is celebrating in true fan fashion with a Coach Ben Johnson look-alike contest, Thursday, Jan. 8. The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Wintrust Sports Complex, 5499 W. 65th St.
Playoff fever has gripped Chicagoland in anticipation of the NFL Wild Card Playoff when the Chicago Bears face their archrival the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field. Fans will have a chance to compete for good, better and best prizes, including Visa gift cards, pizza for a year and more:
1st (BEST) – A $1,000 Visa gift card that can be applied to post season tickets, roundtrip transportation to and from the game via Chicago O’Hare-Midway Limo Service, car washes for a year from Gas ‘n Wash, aligned with their Extreme Car Wash Membership Service.

2nd (BETTER) – $500 Visa gift card and free pizza for a year from Moretti’s in Bedford Park.
3rd (GOOD) – $300 Visa gift card.

There will also be a number of door and raffle prizes, TBD.
All ages are invited. A complimentary buffet will be provided, courtesy of Moretti’s. Adult beverages are available for purchase, age 21+.
Chicago (11-6 regular season record) split two games with Green Bay (9-7-1) en route to winning the NFC North for the first time since 2018. On Dec. 7, the Packers defeated the Bears, 28-21, at Lambeau Field. Chicago got revenge two weeks later with a thrilling 22-16 comeback win in overtime at home.
The NFL wild card game will be broadcast starting at 7 p.m. CST, on Prime Video.
