1 Charged In High-Speed Chase, Crash In St. Charles
A man was taken into custody following the Tuesday afternoon collision.
ST. CHARLES, IL — One person is in custody following a rollover crash in St. Charles.
Police say the Dodge Charger led authorities on a chase that started in the parking lot of BMO Harris Bank, at Thornwood Avenue and Randall Road, according to a news release. Police were called to the bank parking lot at about 3 p.m., and the vehicle fled that area after authorities arrived.
The vehicle continued on Silver Glen Road and then onto Crane Road. The truck then left the roadway near Crane Road and Twin Silo's Drive at a high rate of speed and hit utility pole.

The driver was taken into custody by the Kane County Sheriff’s Office due to the outstanding warrants.
