$425K Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Bartlett
Residents who purchased a ticket at Mr. Quik-Ezz on New Year's Eve should check it to see if they have a winner.

BARTLETT, IL — Two suburban residents are $425,000 richer after winning a lottery jackpot.
One of the Lucky Day Lotto winning tickets was sold on New Year's Eve at Mr. Quik-Ezz, 980 S. Bartlett Road in Bartlett. The other ticket was sold at a BP at 5601 Dempster Street in Morton Grove, according to a news release from the Illinois Lottery.
The two lucky winners matched all five numbers in the Sunday evening drawing to score the $425,000 jackpot prizes. The winning numbers were: 5-12-15-22-28.

This is also a win for the retailers that sold the winning tickets, as they’ll both receive a one percent selling bonus of the prize amount, or $4,250 each, according to the news realize.
Overall, more than 31,000 winning tickets were purchased for the Sunday, December 31 evening drawing of Lucky Day Lotto, netting Illinois Lottery players over $931,000. In 2023, there were over 12 million winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets sold, amounting to over $70 million in prizes for Illinois Lottery players.

Winners have one year from the date of the winning draw in which to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages all lucky winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize.
