Curb, Infrastructure Repairs To Get Underway On Route 64

Drivers should expect delays, city officials said.

From the City of St. Charles: The City of St. Charles is conducting concrete curb and infrastructure repairs on IL Rt. 64/Main Street, between 7th Avenue and 7th Street. Work is scheduled to begin April 11 and is expected to continue through April 27, weather permitting.

During the construction, an outside traffic lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to ensure a safe work zone. Work will be completed on both the north and south sides of the street at different times.

Please follow all traffic control signs and expect delays when driving through this area. You may want to take an alternate route.
