Dead Chihuahua Found Friday Morning, Police Search For Owner

West Chicago police were searching for the owner of a small dog found dead near Gates Street and Glen Avenue Friday morning.

WEST CHICAGO, IL — Police are still searching for the owner of a chihuahua officials found dead Friday morning, according to a social media statement from the department.

West Chicago police found a small, tan chihuahua in the area of Gates Street and Glen Avenue. Officials said the dog had no collar, tags or a microchip to held identify it.

Anyone who may know the owner of the dog is encouraged to call DuPage County Animal Services at 630-407-2800.
