Early Voting In St. Charles Starts Sept. 24: See Where To Vote

Residents can vote at the clerk's office in Geneva starting Sept. 24. Several other locations will also serve as early voting places.

ST. CHARLES, IL — Residents in St. Charles will be able to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day at several locations this fall, according to Kane County Clerk John Cunningham.

“This year, with increased voter turnout for the presidential election and the COVID-19 pandemic, early voting will help limit crowds on Election Day,” Cunningham said in a news release. “For those voters who wish to vote in person, I strongly recommend that you consider voting early.”

Starting Sept. 24, Kane County residents can complete their early voting at the clerk’s office in Geneva, located at 719 S. Batavia Ave.

The Kane County Branch Court in St. Charles will open Oct. 19 for early voting, while a mobile voting unit is set to stop in the city for a day, Cunningham recently announced. The mobile unit is scheduled be at Jewel-Osco, located at 652 Kirk Road, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 21.

The Kane County Clerk’s Office is also expected to install three drop boxes throughout the county for voters to submit their mail-in ballots for the Nov. 3 election. There will be one box each in Aurora, Geneva and Elgin, Kane County Clerk John Cunningham said, though he has not yet released exact locations.
