Expect Delays: Detour to Avoid Randall Road Lane Closure
Motorists should plan around a portion of Randall Road that will be closed for construction starting Tuesday.

ST. CHARLES, IL - A section of Randall Road will be closed to drivers this week to make way for city crews, who will be replacing underground electric cables.
Weather permitting, construction will kick off on Tuesday, May 2 and continue through Thursday, May 4. The southbound lane of Randall Road, from south of Oak Street to Prairie Street, will be closed on those days between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to a St. Charles update.
"Drivers can expect delays while traveling through the work zone and may want to consider the use of alternate routes while this work is completed," the alert said. "Remember to reduce your speed in the work zone, watch for workers and vehicles entering or leaving the site, and obey flaggers and other traffic control measures."
