Family Heirloom Hunt

After our mother died, we were trying to move her items and we donated a painting to the St. Charles Goodwill about a week ago (5/17/24).

We did not realize that our daughter, who just came home from college, would desperately want to keep this. It is not just any old painting, it is a painting that her great grandmother painted in its beautiful original ornate frame (4’ x 2’ of yellow flowers in a blue vase). See photo which shows the bottom 2/3 of the painting.

Our recently deceased mother would always tell our daughter that she got her creative skills from her great grandmother.
