Fire Damages St. Charles Home
No one was injured in the blaze reported early Tuesday on Hillcrest Avenue.
ST. CHARLES, IL — No one as injured when a house started on fire in St. Charles early Tuesday.
The Kane County Sheriff's Office and local firefighters responded to 35W500 Hillcrest Avenue at about 2:10 a.m. where they found the single-story home on fire, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
No one was injured the home at the time of the blaze, and no one was injured. No animals were inside the home either at the time of the fire.

Red Cross has been called to assist and will help displaced residents find a residence, according to the news release.
The cause of the fire, which has not yet been determined, is under investigation. Foul play and criminal charges are not expected.
