Firefighter Hurt In St. Charles Garage Fire

ST. CHARLES, IL — A St. Charles firefighter was hurt Friday morning while putting out flames in a garage at a home on the 800 block of State Street, the Daily Herald reported. According to the news report, those at the home called 911 around 7:30 a.m. Firefighters got to the home and found light smoke coming from the garage area, the Daily Herald said.

Crews found fire coming from a trailer inside the garage, and removed it, clearing the scene shortly after 10 a.m. Damages are estimated at $5,000, according to the news report.
