ST. CHARLES—When the sun goes down this Fourth of July, make sure to look up! Fireworks are back in St. Charles, and Potowattamie Park will be the place to be.
Pottawatomie Park, Pottawatomie Golf Course or Ferson Creek Park have been named as the best place to see the show, but there’s much more to do before the stars even come out.

Picnic tables are available on a first-come/first-served basis, so it is strongly suggested that guests bring their own tables, blankets and lawn chairs to the park. Groups can pack their own picnic baskets, but food and refreshments including hot dogs, popcorn and ice cream will also be available.
Guests are reminded that alcoholic beverages and fireworks, including sparklers, are prohibited in Pottawatomie Park.
In the case of inclement weather, the fireworks will be held the next available evening.
