Gilberts Girl, 12, Killed In Carpentersville Crash
According to reports, police said three other people were injured in the two-car crash.
CARPENTERSVILLE, IL — Police said a girl from Gilberts was killed and three others were injured Sunday during a crash in Carpentersville, the Daily Herald reported. According to the news report, Carpentersville police said a 2018 Audi sedan was headed south on Randall Road around 4:44 p.m. when it collided with a 2008 Toyota minivan turning left onto westbound Miller Road. According to the Daily Herald, police said a 52-year-old woman who was driving the Toyota, her two juvenile passengers, and a 40-year-old man driving the Audi were taken to the hospital.
The Cook County medical examiner's office identified 12-year-old Faith Hoberg, of the 0-100 block of Leadville Lane, Gilberts, as the passenger who died.
