Here's what the Kane County Sheriff's office said about the new pup.

KANE COUNTY, IL — The Kane County Sheriff's Office announced Friday the very first recruit in their new Jail Therapy Dog program. According to the sheriff's office, the new puppy, named "KC" by staff members, will live in the Kane County Jail after training and some maturing. He'll live there to help ease detainee anxiety, the sheriff's office said.
