Oak Street Closed In St. Charles Through Friday
The St. Charles Public Works Department will be replacing an aging section of water main that broke beneath the roadway.
ST. CHARLES, IL — Oak Street will be closed through Friday between 19th Street and Fairview Drive.
The St. Charles Public Works Department will be replacing an aging section of water main that broke beneath the roadway, according to a news release from the city of St. Charles. A detour route will follow 19th Street to Walnut Drive.
Construction on the roadways got underway Monday and will continue through Friday.
