Several Weekend Events Happening In St. Charles

The weekend full of fun is underway in downtown St. Charles and other local spots.

ST. CHARLES, IL — Several fun events are scheduled throughout the weekend in St. Charles, including a family-friendly Classic Cruise Night taking place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at 4200 East Main Street.

The St. Charles Park District is hosting the Sunset Cider Stroll until 7 p.m. Friday at Mount St. Mary Park.

Community members can also come out to Random Acts Matter, An Afternoon of Random Acts at Mount Saint Mary Park Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

St. Charles Arts Council will host ArtsFest, which continues throughout the downtown area and will take place at the Norris Cultural Arts Center from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15.

A weekend full of events means parking will be a hot topic. The City of St Charles said it doesn't ban parking on city streets overnight for most vehicles, but there are restrictions on parking commercial and recreational vehicles overnight
