St Charles Arts Council Announces Artists in Annual Student Show

From SCAC: The St Charles Arts Council is pleased to announce the Artists whose work will be shown in their 5th Annual Student Art Gallery Show. The Opening Reception is on Saturday, March 11 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Food and drink will be served.

The gallery is located at 7 South Second Avenue (EAST of the Fox River) in St. Charles, Illinois. The Student Art Gallery Show will be open from Saturday, March 11 through Sunday, March 25. The 2017 show features 2D and 3D visual art (including painting, sculpture, and photography), and video art, from 100 students.

The arts council invites everyone to the Opening Reception, to see hundreds of pieces of art, and to meet our student artists, who typically attend the Opening. If you can’t make the Reception, we encourage you to see the gallery during the two weeks that it is in the 7th Avenue space. The artwork is varied and accomplished – ranging widely in age and medium – but all wonderfully engaging and even inspiring.
