ST. CHARLES, IL — Students and parents in St. Charles District 303 have a few extra days to choose between remote learning or a hybrid plan for the fall semester, after officials extended the deadline. The initial deadline was Monday, July 20.

“We realize that many families need additional information about both the in-person and remote instruction models prior to making a decision,” officials said in the letter.
Students who do not complete the selection form will be registered for the district’s hybrid learning plan, which calls for students to split their time between the classroom and home based on their last names. Students in each group will spend every other day in school, according to the plan. The district said it will create students’ schedules after it closes its registration window Friday.
