St. Charles Gas Station Sells Winning $450K Lotto Ticket

A customer at a local gas station hit the jackpot on the Fourth of July after buying a winning ticket for the evening's Lucky Day Lotto drawing.

The ticket was sold at BP, 1745 E. Main St., reported The Kane County Chronicle, and all five of its numbers matched — 3, 5, 11, 17 and 21. The gas station will receive 1 percent of the total prize.

Lotto winners have a full year from drawing dates to claim their prizes, the story says.
