St. Charles Hosts Fine Art Show Memorial Day Weekend
More than 80 artists, of varying mediums, will gather downtown on May 29 and May 30, hoping to win top marks and sell their creations.
The Memorial Day parade is cancelled in St. Charles this year, but families still have options to get outdoors and enjoy the weekend.
The annual St. Charles Fine Art Show is on this year, and will take place on May 29 and 30 in Downtown St. Charles.
More than 80 artists will compete during the juried exhibit. But, canvas is hardly the only medium.

Visitors will see hundreds of works from artists using various mediums including clay/ceramics, digital art, drawing/illustration, fiber (non wearable), jewelry, photography, glass, mixed media, oil painting, watercolor painting, acrylic painting, printmaking, sculpture, and wood.
All are exhibited creations will be available for sale during this free, outdoor event.

Art lovers who spend at least $250 on art from one or more artists at the 2021 Fine Art Show will receive two tickets to a show at the newly renovated Arcada Theatre. Visit the information booth at the show for more information.
The art show takes place at Riverside Avenue and Main Street in downtown St. Charles.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m Saturday, May 29, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 30.
