St. Charles Hosts State Of The City Event In May

The event will kick off at 9 a.m. on May 16 at the Royal Fox Country Club, 4405 Royal and Ancient Drive, St. Charles.

ST. CHARLES, IL — Residents can learn more about city-planned initiatives, as well as current challenges and progress on planned projects at a State of the City event, which is planned for May in St. Charles.

The event will kick off at 9 a.m. on May 16 at the Royal Fox Country Club, 4405 Royal and Ancient Drive, St. Charles. The free event is open to the public

Those stopping out will get the chance to chat with alderpersons with the city of St. Charles Alderpersons, city staff and Mayor Lora Vitek.

“This is a new event for the City of St. Charles,” said Mayor Lora Vitek. “Our fiscal year begins May 1, and we are more than a year into our Strategic Plan, so this gives us a good opportunity to report on what’s happening in the City. We hope to see our residents and business owners there.”

The event opens at 9 a.m. with light refreshments, and a presentation begins at 9:30 a.m.
