Streamwood Man Dies After Motorcycle Leaves Rt. 31, Hits Tree: Police
Joseph Ceravolo, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash near Vasa Park and police said he the victim was not wearing a helmet.
ST. CHARLES TOWNSHIP, IL – A 31-year-old Streamwood man died on Sunday after he was involved in a single motorcycle vehicle in unincorporated St. Charles Township, police said on Monday.
Joseph Ceravolo was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which took place just before 7 p.m. on Sunday on Route 31 near the entrance of Vasa Park, the Kane County Sheriff’s Office said.
Police said that that Cerevolo was traveling east on Route 31 when, for unknown reasons, his bike left the roadway and struck a tree. Ceravolo was not wearing a helmet, police said. Detectives are still working to determine if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash as they continue to investigate the incident, police said.
