Texas Man Charged In Connection With Armed Robbery, Mugging
St. Charles police said Amos L. Hollie, of Houston, took a necklace from a man early Sunday, cutting the victim with a knife in the process.

ST. CHARLES, IL — A Houston man has been charged with felony armed robbery after a mugging Sunday left a man with minor injuries.
Police said Amos L. Hollie, 31, approached a man walking in the 0-99 block of North Third Street at around midnight Sunday. Hollie is accused of displaying a knife and holding it to the man's leg, then ripping a necklace from the man's neck. The man was left with a small cut on his leg in the process, authorities said.
The man described his attacker as Black, 6-feet-3-inches tall and wearing cowboy boots, blue jeans and no shirt. He also said the robber drove away from the scene in a white SUV.

Four hours later, the Kane County Sheriff's Office located the vehicle, which led them to where Hollie was staying. Authorities said they searched his residence on a warrant and recovered the necklace from the robbery.
