Winning Lottery Tickets Sold In Stickney And St. Charles

The winning tickets were recently sold at a Jewel in Stickney and a BP gas station in St. Charles, according to a news release.

ST. CHARLES, IL — If you recently bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket, you may want to check it after a grocery store in Stickney sold a $400,000 winning ticket in the Wednesday, Nov. 27 evening draw, and a gas station in St. Charles sold a $200,000 winning ticket in the Friday, Nov. 29 midday draw, according to a news release from the Illinois Lottery.

Jewel Food Store at 7122 W. 40th St., in Stickney, sold a $400,000 winning ticket in the Wednesday evening draw, matching all five numbers — 11- 19 - 23 - 41 - 44 — to win a $400,000 prize. The retailer will receive a bonus of $4,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket, according to the news release.

The winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Friday midday draw was purchased at The BP at 1660 W. Main St. in St. Charles, and matched all five numbers — 01 - 23 - 30 - 35 - 45 — to win a $200,000 prize. The retailer will receive a bonus of $2,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket, according to the news release.

The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the lottery's five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
