New Playground Coming to Peterson Park
The new playground is scheduled to re-open on Thursday, Nov. 3rd.
A new children's playground in Peterson Park is coming to the Vernon Hills Park District this fall. The demolition of the old playground began on Monday, Oct. 17 and the new playground is scheduled to re-open on Thursday, Nov. 3. The swing set will be fenced in for safety purposes during construction, but will not be replaced. The renovation of the play area will be suitable for children ages 5-12
