Complete Tower Trot 2012 Results Online
Over a thousand people ran in the 5k, the 10k or both races in the 2012 run of the Western Springs Recreation Department's marquee event.
The complete results of the 2012 Tower Trot can now be found online, with results for both the 5k and the 10k in multiple age divisions.
The 5k was won by Western Springs’ Mike Janusek (16:43,) with the 10k crown going to Mark Holt of La Grange Highlands (34:36.) Kate Deprosperis of Downers Grove was the fastest female finisher in the 5k (19:11) and Samantha Kirkham of Hinsdale won the women’s division in the 10k (40:42.)
816 runners completed the 5k; 311 ran the 10k. 101 racers completed in both events. The total number of participants in the 2012 Tower Trot was over a thousand: 1026, mostly from Western Springs and the surrounding area, but also from as far away as Los Angeles, Austin and Pittsburgh.
