$2,000 Necklace Stolen at Lyons Township High: Cops
In another case, a woman's credit cards were stolen while she was shopping at a Western Springs store, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Theft, a drunken ride-share passenger and porch piracy were among the recent reports from Western Springs police. Here is information from the reports:
Theft
- A gold necklace valued at $2,000 was reported stolen Nov. 7 from a secured locker at Lyons Township High School's South Campus, 4900 Willow Springs Road.
- A woman told police that her credit cards were stolen about 1 p.m. on Halloween while shopping at Mariano's, 4700 Gilbert Ave. The cards were later used at different stores. The theft was reported 2½ weeks later.
- A ladder was reported stolen in the two weeks before last Tuesday in the 3900 block of Rose Avenue. It was valued at $100.
Drunk passenger

- A ride-share service told police that a youth passenger was drunk and caused a disturbance after leaving the car about 2:30 a.m. Nov. 16 in the 5000 block of Woodland Avenue. The boy was charged with disorderly conduct and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
Porch piracy
- Residents in two households a block from each other were the victims of porch piracy in the early evening of Nov. 6. A package valued at $57 was stolen from a house in the 3900 block of Linden Avenue. Around the same time, a package valued at $150 was stolen from a house in the 3900 block of Clausen Avenue.
