The Denning Park playground officially reopened Friday morning after many weeks of finger-pointing between contractors and vendors, which caused the opening of the park to be delayed, acoring to the Park District of La Grange. The safety of patrons is of the upmost priority, and the park is completely safe for public use, officials stated. There is still a little more cosmetic work to be completed, "but nonetheless, La Grange children now have another safe, fun, state-of-the-art playground to enjoy!" they added. Denning Park is in La Grange, just across Gilbert Avenue from Garden Market and Lyons Township High School in Western Springs.
