Hot Memorial Day With Storms, Cooling Down Midweek

After the heatwave continues through Monday, daily highs will drop all the way into the upper 50s by Thursday.

So while we were all collectively baking in an oven this weekend (except for those of you who fled somewhere more temperate for Memorial Day weekend, you lucky dogs!), did anyone, you know, summon a djinn and say something along the lines of "make this stop?"

Because stop it will, and how. Thursday's highs are back to the levels we saw in February... heck, below the levels we saw in February! But before that happens, Monday's Memorial Day parade and ceremonies will still take place in a mild inferno, with some storms potentially dropping by in the evening.
