Naperville Park District Shares Labor Day Weekend Hours
The Last Fling event and parade are cancelled and Centennial Beach is closed as part of the community's response to COVID-19.

Labor Day weekend in downtown Naperville will look different this year, with the Last Fling event and parade cancelled and Centennial Beach closed as part of the community’s response to COVID-19. However, Naperville Park District offers opportunities for people to enjoy the outdoors while following the recommended guidelines for social distancing. Prior to participating in any of the following activities, participants are asked to review the guidelines posted at https://www.napervilleparks.org/news/coronavirusinformation/participationguidelinesprogramsandfacilities.

The Paddleboat Quarry (435 Aurora Avenue) will be open daily from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Saturday-Monday, September 5-7, weather permitting. Rentals are available on site on a first-come, first-served basis for up to four people in a paddleboat, one person on a paddleboard, or for a one-person or two-person kayak. The Paddleboat Quarry is located along the Naperville Riverwalk near Rotary Hill and the Riverwalk Café.
While tours of the Millennium Carillon in Moser Tower (443 Aurora Avenue) have been suspended this year, several free Carillon concerts are planned for Labor Day weekend. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the music on Rotary Hill or listen on either side of the Riverwalk. The concert schedule is as follows:

- Saturday, September 5 at 12:00 p.m. – Carillonneur Sue Bergren
- Saturday, September 5 at 7:00 p.m. – Pops Concert with City Carillonneur Tim Sleep. The theme is “Name that Tune II.” The audience is invited to guess the titles, which will be posted on the Carillon Facebook page following the concert.
- Sunday, September 6 at 4:00 p.m. – Carillonneur Jim Brown
Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses (2220 W. 83rd St. and 22204 W. 111th St.) will operate with regular weekend hours. Visit golfnaperville.org to reserve a tee time or for course and practice range hours and information.
Sportsman’s Trapshooting Range (735 S. West Street) will be open with regular operating hours on Thursday, September 3 and Sunday, September 6.
Fort Hill Activity Center (20 Fort Hill Drive) will be open to fitness and indoor track members only Saturday, September 5 from 6:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 6 from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., and Monday (Labor Day), September 7 from 6:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Knoch Knolls Nature Center (320 Knoch Knolls Road) will be open Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The Center will be closed on Sunday, September 6 and on Monday (Labor Day), September 7.
95th Street Center (2244 W. 95th Street) and Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center (305 W. Jackson Avenue) will be closed September 5-7 except for program use.
