• $1K Stolen From Car In Western Springs: Police (patch.com) — Western Springs police are reporting several recent incidents, including more than $1,000 in cash and credit cards stolen from a car at the Mariano’s parking lot on Gilbert Avenue. Officers also logged a liquor theft from the same store and a package stolen from a front porch on Longmeadow Lane, all on Dec. 21.
