Roasting Temperatures in the 90s Ahead
Tuesday looks to be particularly hot (but with some breeze) during a partly cloudy week; a slight cool-off by Sunday.

As the 4th of July rolls around, folks in the Lyons Township area might feel like they've been stuffed inside a firework. Temperatures have been hot and are going to stay hot—Tuesday is even threatening to come close to the heat we saw Thursday (and at the .)
We got a thick soaking on Friday and Sunday, so hopefully some of that browning grass will get a little greener (and Western Springs' water get a little less hard with lowered pressure requirements,) but at least according to the forecasts we have right now, we won't get any more water for a while: just a hot drying-up.
So break out the light clothing, check your A/C and take to your local parks! Here's your weather:
