Sunny, Dry, Hot Weather to Continue
Monday will be cooler, but temperatures for Thursday in particular may prove brutally hot, flirting with the 100-degree marker.

Traditionally, sunny skies are what we call "good" weather. But our lawns and flora may feel somewhat differently as we enter into yet another week free of any significant rainfall.
Other than a few splashes about the equivelant of a two-minute sprinkler run, it has been little but hot, clear and dry lately, and the only thing scheduled to change about that is that on Thursday it will get even hotter. Heatstroke is real, and temperatures flirting with the century-club mark are especially dangerous; we urge everyone in Lyons Township to get your A/C ready and drink plenty of fluids!
