Super Hot Monday, Good Chance of Rain This Week

Following last week's Tuesday and Wednesday brief and violent deluges, this week threatens more of the same, along with a roaster of a Monday.

Barely an hour passed over the middle of last week that little pearls of thunder couldn't be heard rolling over Lyons Township, and of course the skies absolutely erupted on Wednesday night in a brief but insanely violent storm. It was pretty freaky; we had in Western Springs and a by downed power lines.

Of course, Chicagoland is in  lately, and lo and behold, this coming week may deliver as the midweek once again promises a good chance of precipitation... that is once Monday's scorching heat finishes drying everything back out. Stay cool and hydrated, as always!
