Temperate, Sunny Week Welcomes June

Warmth in the mid-70s accompanies clear and partly-cloudy skies for most of next week, creeping into the 80s for the weekend.

Calling the weather a few days in advance has its pitfalls, as in when we for Thursday last week. We got the cool-down dead on, but we missed the impending all-day monsoon! (Or rather, our sources did.) So please, let us encourage you to take WeatherWatch as a snapshot guideline, and check your weather again a day ahead of time before any major plans.

That said, we're pretty sure you don't have to worry about that this week: all signs point towards a lovely, calm and pleasantly warm last week of school to welcome the summer for our local youth. Get out and enjoy it!
