Temperatures Level Out Into the 80s All Week

The skies remain bright and sunny this week, but Lyons Township area residents won't be sweltering quite as badly as we did last week.

Relax. Breathe. Step out of your fridge. The Chicagoland-wide oven has finally been turned down.

The calmer temperatures that we all saw on Sunday (and , seven days in advance!) are harbingers of the week ahead, which, after nearly two weeks of incessant broil, will simmer down into the 80s, sneaking back into the 90s by the weekend.

Oh, and there's barely a cloud in the sky forecasted, let alone any rain. Apologies if you happen to be a lawn.
