Summer is more than half over, so this totally counts as pressing issue: have you taken your friends, family and/or pets on a picnic yet? The area in and around Western Springs has a cornucopia of great places to grab a table or just bring a blanket, and we'd like your vote on the best of the best. Is it one of the Village parks, maintained as they are by the ? Or do you prefer the un-fertilized, natural areas of Bemis Woods, Salt Creek or other nearby forest preserves?
