Western Springs Poll: Where Do You Picnic Nearby?
Outdoor picnics are a staple of summer fun for those Western Springs residents who happen to be in town; if you're enjoying an outdoor lunch with friends or family, where do you go?

( results: of 24 respondents, 70 percent [17] said that the Village should not fluoridate water after the water plant is complete, 25 percent [6] expressed no concern over current fluoride levels and 4 percent [1] said that the current levels are concerning but pre-plant reconstruction levels should be resumed after construction.)
Summer is more than half over, so this totally counts as pressing issue: have you taken your friends, family and/or pets on a picnic yet?
The area in and around Western Springs has a cornucopia of great places to grab a table or just bring a blanket, and we'd like your vote on the best of the best. Is it one of the Village parks, maintained as they are by the ? Or do you prefer the un-fertilized, natural areas of Bemis Woods, Salt Creek or other nearby forest preserves?
