WHEATON, IL — Cars were scratched, retail thefts took place at America's Best and Nordstrom Rack and other crimes were reported on the most recent blotter for the Wheaton Police Department.
Retail Theft at America's Best
Officers were called to the America's Best store at 146 Danada Square West on Dec. 11 for a report of a retail theft. Police say someone came into the store around 4 p.m., took items and left without paying.

Car Burglarized in 1400 Block of Stonebridge Circle
Someone got into an unlocked car while it was parked in the 1400 block of Stonebridge Cirlce. The burglary took place sometime between 5 p.m. on Dec. 12 and 6 a.m. on Dec. 13.

Retail Theft at Nordstrom Rack
Two women were involved in a retail theft at the Nordstrom Rack on Dec. 12, according to the crime blotter. Police say the women came into the store around 2:30 p.m. and took the anti-theft devices from items before leaving the store without paying for the items.
Car Damaged in Target Parking Lot
A car was keyed while it was parked in the lot of the Target at 601 S. County Farm Rd. Scratches were found on the car's front and rear passenger doors. The incident happened between 2:30 p.m. and 4:44 p.m. on Dec. 12.
Car Damaged in VASA Fitness Parking Lot
Someone scratched a car while it was parked in the lot of VASA Fitness, 501 S. County Farm Rd. The incident took place sometime between 7:39 p.m. and 9:41 p.m. on Dec. 13.
