WEST CHICAGO, IL — A crash closed the eastbound lanes of Route 38 Monday morning. As of 9:30 a.m., eastbound traffic was halted near Kress Road. Police were urging drivers to avoid the area, if possible. Drivers in the area were urged to use caution and follow officers who are directing traffic.
