WHEATON, IL — A house was burglarized, a car window was smashed, and other crimes were reported on the most recent blotter from the Wheaton Police Department.
Criminal Damage to Motor Vehicle on Tiger Trail
Police were called to the 1900 block of Tiger Trail on Aug. 19 for a report of criminal damage to a motor vehicle. The victim told police someone smashed the back window of their car while it was parked on Tiger Trail. The incident took place sometime between 7:20 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Package Stolen from Building
A package from Amazon was stolen from the common area of a building in the 1400 block of Stonebridge Circle, according to the crime blotter. Police say the theft took place at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 19.

Home Burglarized on Briarbrook Drive
A house was burglarized in the 1000 block of Briarbrook Drive on Aug. 22. Police say someone "forcibly entered" the residence between 10:40 a.m. and 6 p.m. and then "ransacked" the house.
