House Burglarized, Packages Swiped: Wheaton Crime Blotter

WHEATON, IL — Police in Wheaton responded to reports of property damage, a home burglary, package thefts and more in the first half of November, according to the city's most recent crime blotter.

Criminal Damage to Property

Someone shattered a window at Renberg Auto, 310 W. Liberty Dr. The incident happened sometime between 6 p.m. on Nov. 8 and 12 p.m. on Nov. 10.

Package Stolen from Porch

A package was stolen after it was delivered to a home in the 900 block of Scott Street. Police say the package was taken sometime between 11:26 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 7.

House Burglarized

A resident told police someone burglarized their home in the 1900 block of Lancaster Lane on Nov. 4. Police say sometime between 10 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., someone broke the window of the home, gained access to the house and stole "multiple items," per the police blotter.
