Independence Day In Wheaton: Registration Open For July 4 Parade

Downtown Wheaton will come alive with red, white and blue floats and marchers vying for prizes in the city's 2024 Independence Parade.

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton residents can business owners can see the city's Independence Day Parade make its way through the downtown area on July 4. Participants have until June 26 to register a float or group for the parade.

The Independence Day Parade will step off at 10 a.m., featuring community groups, bands, and more. Those on the sidelines will have ample opportunity to snap photos or grab candy and other goodies as the parade makes its way down Main Street.

A viewing stand will be set up at Front and Main Streets, where participants will be judged in the following categories:
