2 Benzes Spray Painted, DUI: Police Blotter

Wheaton police reports, March 8-9

SATURDAY, MARCH 9

Suspended Driver's License

Police charged Semaj D. Wilkins, 22, of the 1300 block of Woodcutter Lane, Wheaton, with driving on a suspended license. Wilkins was driving a maroon or burgundy 2002 Buick Regal near the intersection of Madison and Gary avenues at about 1 a.m. when police initiated a traffic stop. Wilkins was released at the scene.

DUI

Police charged Dayanne C. Bowden, 23, of the 1600 block of Southampton Court, Wheaton, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Bowden was driving a gold 1995 Toyota Camry at about 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Butterfield and Orchard Roads when police initiated a traffic stop. Bowden was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

FRIDAY, MARCH 8

Mercedes-Benzes Spray Painted

A man reported that his Mercedes-Benz was spray-painted between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on the 500 block of North County Farm Road. A separate Mercedes-Benz was also spray painted. There were no known suspects.

DUI 

Julie M. Penn, 31, of the 1300 block of Marcey Avenue, Wheaton, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 7:23 p.m. March 8 at Warrenville Road and Yackley Avenue, Lisle police said.
